Williams House Renovation —
St Lucia, QLD

The existing house, built in 1960, was first extended by Ian Ferrier in the early 1970s. An additional skillion roof was added to create a butterfly roof similar in style to other St Lucia projects of the period.

The brief was to update the house and solve the problem of sun intrusion along the western façade.

The design solution is harmonious with the original design, ensuring that the Williams House is still recognized as a fine example of 1960s architecture.
